    Hi. I’m Dominique, local content creator and podcast host for Boutique Beauty. Boutique Beauty is a digital media site that provides culture and lifestyle content and is located in Southern California, Greater Los Angeles Area. After working behind the scenes in radio broadcasting as an intern and freelancer, I wanted to make a creative space to share ideas that stretched beyond social media. I wanted to try something more personal and create a community in touch with the chic femme sophisticate.

    Growing up and coming from a culturally diverse family, I learned the value of character. I viewed it as something that persuades our understanding of beauty and as women gives us the opportunity to redefine ourselves. Character represents beauty and beauty is unique to the soul of each individual. Discovering common things we all enjoy about lifestyle, culture, and beauty is a great way to share a different point of view on relatable experiences that push us forward creatively, inform us, and make us feel our most beautiful everyday. Boutique Beauty represents women who despite being overworked are willing to dedicate time to defining their identities outside of their 9 to 5 jobs. I enjoy connecting with people. So, if I were to describe her (the ideal boutique beauty) in a simple phrase; she works hard and laughs easy.

    The interpretation of beauty should always be an open-ended conversation. As a woman, I feel it’s important to know your humanity is recognized in the world around you. As I’ve grown, ideas about what makes us (women) beautiful continues to ignite my creativity and present opportunities to reflect them. I believe this is the essence of beauty: a moving force that pushes us all to the next level of our best self. It’s an authentic individual and unique experience that’s personal.

    Beauty is a bold word. But, beauty equals balance. An authentic aesthetic that is unbothered, maintained and preserved no matter how busy your schedule becomes a woman is ready outwardly and inwardly to shine bright.

    I love connecting with people through storytelling. We are all so much alike. Finding things that are inspiring and building conversations around them is very human and something that I enjoy. It doesn’t matter the topic; from beauty, pop culture, selfcare or anything in-between. I like finding a pulse and talking about it.
